We are seeking a proactive Health and Safety Officer to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies across all project sites. You will conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and training sessions to ensure full compliance with local and international safety standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating safe working environments.
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE management within construction or oil & gas
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is required
- IOSH Managing Safely certification is an advantage
- Knowledge of Nigerian Factories Act and international OSHA standards
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting
- Strong presentation and training delivery skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
